Northline Construction has been renovating my 2,900 sq ft townhouse for the past five months. It was a significant renovation, including structural re-framing and the addition of steel beams and structural headers to covert four separate rooms into a single great room. Washrooms were also reconfigured significantly and walls were adjusted to create an impressive ensuite to the master bedroom. The house was taken down to the studs, all electrical and plumbing was replaced, and new insulation was installed before re-boarding. I worked directly with Dean through the length of the project starting with a review of the budget I had prepared prior to hiring Northline. During the review he was able to identify items that I had estimated below market value, and those that I had overpriced. We were able to fine-tune the overall budget, which was used by myself for the duration of the project. Dean worked with me to keep things on budget and any overruns were largely linked to me adding additional scope. The Northline crew were absolutely amazing throughout the entire project. Dean’s staff are personable, friendly, and most importantly do excellent quality work. Their care in their craft is apparent in the end result. Finally, I want to note how pleasant it is to work with Dean personally. I’ve worked with many contractors in the past and Dean is hands down the most responsive contractor I have worked with. He always returns calls and when I make a request I can rest assured that it will get done. I highly recommend Northline Construction for any work you are considering.
